1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Focus Mode ("we"). By creating an account or using Focus Mode you accept them and the Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You may use the app on your own phone, and you may add a child only if you are their parent or legal guardian. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Using the family features responsibly

• Use monitoring only for your own minor child, with their knowledge. The app always shows the child a notice while it is on, and you agree not to try to hide it.
• Do not use the service to monitor, track or control another adult, a partner, an employee or anyone who has not agreed to it, and do not use it to harass or harm anyone.
• Talk with your child about the rules you set. We provide the tools; how you use them is your decision and responsibility.
• Do not attack, reverse-engineer, overload or misuse the service, or use it to break the law.

4. What Strict Mode does and does not do

Strict Mode is a self-control tool. It can be bypassed on some phones (for example by force-stopping the app, restarting in safe mode, uninstalling it, or with developer tools), and we do not promise it cannot. It is designed to keep calls available, including emergency numbers, but you must not rely on the app in an emergency. Usage figures and alerts may be late or incomplete if the phone is off, offline or has restricted the app.

5. Plans and payment

The app is free to start. Pro is ₹49 per user per month or ₹249 per user per year, including GST. You count as one user and each child adds one. Pro is bought on our website, not in the app. A 7-day free trial applies to your first plan; you approve a payment method when you start and are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Plans renew automatically each period until you cancel. If a renewal payment fails we keep Pro on for a short grace period while it is retried, then the plan ends. Changing the number of users takes effect as described on the account page; adding users is charged pro rata. We may change prices for future periods and will tell you in advance.

6. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel any time from your account; Pro continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are described in the refund policy.

7. Your data

You can delete your account and all data at any time; see how to delete your account. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where reasonable.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or stop features; if we end a paid feature you are using we will refund the unused part of the period.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at your city have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have to bring a case elsewhere. Please write to us first so we can try to fix the problem.
